New Hampshire

In New Hampshire marriage for same-sex couples has been legal since January 1, 2010.

New Hampshire already recognized civil unions, and on January 1, 2011 all civil unions converted to marriage, unless otherwise dissolved or already converted.

There have been failed attempts to repeal marriage equality in New Hampshire.
